Dr. Stanley Gallagher provides Family Medicine for patients of all ages. Whether you need a yearly checkup, care for an illness, help with a long-term health condition, or ongoing care, Dr. Gallagher is here to help. He believes the best care starts by building trust and getting to know his patients over time.
Dr. Gallagher grew up in Wheaton, Minnesota, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He began practicing medicine in 1977 at Wheaton Community Health Center before caring for patients in Herman and Browns Valley, Minnesota. In 2011, he and his staff joined Coteau des Prairies Health Care System, where he continues to care for families throughout the region.
With more than 50 years of experience, Dr. Gallagher believes in caring for the whole person, not just treating an illness. He takes time to listen, answer questions, and help patients make the best decisions for their health. He enjoys building lasting relationships with the families he serves.
Outside of work, Dr. Gallagher enjoys spending time with his wife, Joyce, their two children, and three grandchildren. He is thankful for the opportunity to continue caring for the communities he has called home throughout his career.
