Dr. Michael Lowe provides Family Medicine for patients of all ages. Whether you need a yearly checkup, care for an illness, help with a long-term health condition, or advice on living a healthier life, Dr. Lowe is here to help. He takes the time to get to know his patients and build care plans that fit their needs.

Before becoming a doctor, Dr. Lowe studied engineering. It didn’t take long for him to realize he wanted to do something different. He wanted to help people. That decision led him to Family Medicine, where he could build lasting relationships and care for patients through every stage of life.

Dr. Lowe has a special passion for rural healthcare because it allows him to care for the whole person, not just an illness. He helps patients prevent health problems, manage ongoing conditions, and make healthy choices that support long-term wellness. He believes the best healthcare starts with listening, building trust, and working together.

After practicing in Arizona, Dr. Lowe and his family chose to make the move to the Sisseton area to join CDP Health. He looks forward to getting to know the community and caring for local families for years to come.

Outside of work, Dr. Lowe enjoys spending time with his wife, their six adult children, and their three Great Danes. He also enjoys working on classic cars and Volkswagens. When he’s not in the garage, you’ll often find him walking, hiking, or spending time outdoors with his dogs.
