What is it?
The GeneSight test is used to analyze how your genes affect medication outcomes. This test can benefit those who are struggling with finding the right medications for mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, or ADHD. The test analyzes your genetics and determines which medications works best for you based on how your body metabolizes them. CDP has partnered with GeneSight as an additional option for pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing to better serve our patients.
The patient needs to talk with their provider before ordering the test and usually they can get results within a week or less.
